On Dec. 3rd American Humane Association had an appreciation dinner for the Animal-Assisted Therapy division. It was a formal dinner at The Westin at Tabor Center. We were able to bring our therapy animals but we decided to leave Zeke at home. There were 62 dogs, 2 cats and 1 guinea pig! It was a great night with some touching stories. There was laughter, tears and the biggest Great Dane I've ever seen. I wanted to take him home with me but I suspect it would've been hard to sneak him out of there while remaining unnoticed. It was a fun night and a great start to the holiday season.
