Dave wasn't able to get up on one ski but the gold medal in determination went to him. I've never seen anyone hang on to the rope for so long hoping that their ski would go from horizontal to vertical. Too funny!
Another success was getting Zeke to swim. For a dog with webbed feet, we've never had much success in this area. Guess all it takes is a frisbee. He was tentative at first but once he got the hang of it, he couldn't get enough. One of the best parts was when I accidentally threw the frisbee in the reeds. He would go in, grab what he thought was the frisbee but what was really a reed and swim out of the reeds. Then he'd realize he didn't have the frisbee so he re-entered the reed patch and grabbed yet again what he thought was the frisbee but alas, was another reed. I thought the poor guy was going to drown of exhaustion.
Thanks to the Dean's, Cameron's and Pelican's for hosting such a great weekend and for your patience with us behind the boat.
Zeke wanted to make sure we didn't leave him behind. How could we with that face??
All that swimming sure does tucker one out.
