Changes In The Hood

As y'all know the house on the corner has been empty for quite some time. Well a woman bought it, did some work to the inside and has finally moved in.

I was just sitting on my couch flipping through the textbook I just got today (eek!) and glanced outside. I'm not sure when exactly the alcohol fridge was removed from outside the sunroom however I can't believe I didn't notice this momentous occasion when it happened. I kind of miss it in a weird sort of way. I remember when we moved into our house we had to put our fridge and oven on our breezeway while we painted and tiled and I felt a little sorry for our neighbors. I noticed they had a fridge outside and I naively thought they must be doing some house work too! It only took meeting Chris once to realize it was a permanent fixture.

The other change is that there is a house on the next street over that is getting gutted and remodeled. It's the exact same house as ours and the visible changes from the outside is that they took out the door in the kitchen and put one out the back (in what would be our office). I'm dying to see the inside!

That's exciting! Maybe the remodel will give you some ideas for your dream expansion project :-) I think your house is perfect just the way it is though! Funny how we all look to change things isn't it?
