I was looking at previous posts and noticed that exactly a year ago I posted about the non-winter we'd been having and how the east coast had been getting all the snow.
Quite the opposite this year! I think we've literally had snow on the ground (albeit some days it was sparse) since the end of November. It's regularly been in the low 40's and last Thursday we got dumped on and school was cancelled. It was our last day of work for the year, score!
Its been unseasonably warm in the east and while they've received some snow, it was still green up until Christmas Eve (in upstate NY) anyway. And I don't think Iowa has any snow either.
Funny weather.
