Sixth Anniversary

Well, we had the best intentions when planning how to celebrate this year's wedding anniversary. We originally were going to go to a friend's cabin in Taos, NM however when he found out Dave had knee surgery, he told us we weren't going. I asked why and he said "there are stairs." I was like, oh no, it's fine, he's recovering really well. He said "no, there are 55 stairs". I was like, oh, I guess we're not going.

So, we did the usual which was fine by me. I thought maybe we should change things up a little bit so the pictures don't look the same year after year so I had the brilliant idea of us making the number of the anniversary we were celebrating. Dave was kind enough to amuse me. Let's just say this first try made us laugh. Obviously we didn't have anyone to tell us that this looked a tad inappropriate.

You don't know where you're going if you don't know where you've been.

Later that day we celebrated Sarah's 45th birthday with a little adult pinata action (pinata courtesy Brewer's birthday party...four year olds are pretty good at not shredding it to pieces when they hit it so it was in perfectly good shape for us to use).

Hey, that's not for little boys!

Our contribution was little bottles of vodka.
