Dave's Turn

Dave had knee surgery on September 23rd. How they performed the surgery was the same as mine but what they did once they got in there was different. He needed to have the tissue under the knee cap smoothed out and they also released a tendon on the outer part of his knee. He was a great patient!

Post surgery

This is the day after surgery! I couldn't do that for months.

Couldn't resist. Plus it's a rare photo of Poppy's face. You can't really tell in this photo but she was smiling.The discharge nurse said once you can lift your leg (as pictured below), you can take the knee brace off (which should be about five to seven days). The over-achiever lifted his leg to get in the car right after the surgery.

Two days after surgery. He got to wear the sexy stockings too.
