5 Years!

Twas a lovely day. Dave and I went to Duffy Roll intending to get cinnamon rolls for a snack as we drove up to Evergreen but by the time we got there it was lunch time (we still got a roll though, a mini one comes with your lunch, yay!). Then Dave agreed to go dress shopping with me (I needed a dress for a wedding we're going to in a couple of weeks). I found a fabulous red dress at this boutique, PJ's, on S. Pearl. I'm so in love with it. Then we did a little "work" for Dave's theater business and then we finally headed up to Evergreen. It was sunny but only 50 degrees and very windy. So cold that we didn't feel like walking around the lake. As we drove off we saw this elderly couple all bundled up walking around the lake. Maybe on our 50th anniversary we'll feel like that if we can put up with each other for 50 years then a cold, windy walk around the lake ain't nothin'! In the meantime, we'll enjoy each other's company along with our heated seats.

This was just past Lair of the Bair trailhead.

Arrrr, matey.
"My hair's blowing in the wind."

Zeke could hardly resist the ducks that were taunting him.

Love the jacket. Don't know what is better, 50 and windy or 40 and fog rolling in. How time flies!
