Moms Are the Best

Mum and I had a great time while she was here. The weather wasn't so great last weekend but the week ended up being sunny and fairly warm. For Easter we went to my new favorite breakfast joint, Crepes 'n Crepes. Then we had one of my friends from school, Kellyn, over for Easter lunch and then we went to the Couch's for evening snacks and dessert. Unfortunately it ended up raining so we couldn't burn the Christmas tree (I'm still calling it annual even though it's only happened one year...I'm feeling confident about next year).

On Saturday we went to mom's cousin's house for dinner. We went on our annual shopping trip on Wednesday. Other than that we had a fairly low key week which was really nice. Miss you already mum!

When Brewer first met mom he was all shy...by the end of the night they were good pals and at one point he ran from his room to the dining room and went right up to mom and said "I love you". Dave and I haven't even gotten an "I love you!". Moms are the best!
