Dave and I drove to Iowa to see his family during Labor Day weekend. We took Zeke along and he did really well in the car and he loved all the attention he got while there. We made it to Mel and Jodi's house late Friday evening and caught up with them Saturday morning and then drove to Ron & Debi's in time for lunch. We literally just hung out all weekend (we didn't even get our walk in that we kept talking about). We heard all about Mel, Jodi and Debi's trip to Italy and saw some amazing pictures. We played Bananagrams...I don't think Dave will ever play that game again (he was getting frustrated that he never won). Debi invited extended family over for dinner on Sunday night so it was great to see so many people while we were there. We had a great trip! Thanks Mel, Jodi, Ron and Debi for everything! Miss you already!
Zeke and Aunt Mel became friends really quickly. Do you like his John Deere toy? He also has a John Deere collar on. He liked being a country dog.

I love this picture...if you look closely you can see the Dani's legs upside-down. No, Dave did not push her off.
Dani doesn't like dogs very much but by the end of the night you couldn't separate these two. She did a great job giving him commands and walking him around the yard. Zeke slept really well that night!
