Happy Thanksgiving

It's officially a tradition. We spent the third year in a row with Amy, Rob and Brewer. Earlier in the day however we went to Kayce and Bernie's to a) see their new house in Littleton (I liked it much better when they lived a mile down the street but love their new home) and b) see their new baby. Abigail was born on November 20th. She's of course way cute and didn't make a peep the whole time we were there, even when she had a blow out in her diaper. Morgan is doing a great job as the big sister. She helped Kayce make green bean casserole.

While we were gone I remembered that I had left torn up bread on the table to dry out for the stuffing. I hoped that our dog was well-behaved but alas, when we walked in the door he got in trouble rather than praised. Thankfully, I had stowed some on the counter so I could still make stuffing, we just didn't have any leftovers.

Dinner was great as usual. Some new 5 star additions to the menu: funeral potatoes and what Dave has renamed crusty-bottom surprise (original name was surprise cake). Both (along with everything else) was DE-LICIOUS!

I am thankful for lots of things! For Dave and Zeke, for the family we have in CO, for our pseudo-family next door, for all of my dear friends and for planes that allow me to see my family (which I'm also thankful for) that I don't see very often but think about every single day. We wish we could have been with you Mom and Dad Miller and Mum and Dud!
