Casino Royale

Every once-in-a-while we play Texas Hold 'Em with Amy and Rob. Rob's sister, Sarah, was in town in September (she and Anne-Marie just moved to RI in August) so we decided to have a go at poker. Dave dealt way too many chips and it basically came down to the two that could stay awake the longest (that would be Dave and Rob). A quick story about a time we played over a year ago: I got a royal flush! Told you it was a quick story. Yes-sir-ree! According to the handy-dandy card that tells you the odds of the different combinations there is a one in 670,000 chance that one will get a royal flush. Because I was new to poker Rob had to clarify "did you realize what you had?" I should've bought a lottery ticket that night!

This is why Dave loves playing with Brewer so much...he gets to act like a kid and have it not be weird.

I bought these glasses specifically for poker to hide my poker face. I much prefer Amy's lucky feather.
